I used the extra day in February to get one more attempt in at the 5150.  This time I used mini-sets after a decent first set.  The overall result was good, upping my pull ups from 38 to 43 although I lost a few off my best push up number, knocking out 78 reps, down from 84.

It was my best overall effort of the month which is what you want, finish with your best.


Next month’s challenge is already up and running thanks to a suggestion from Lou.  It’s called Maximum Fatigue and involves doing pull ups, dips or dragon flags AFTER you pre-fatigue your muscles with a static hold.
