So I worked out last week the first few days where I was getting sick and I have worked out since Tuesday as I am coming out of illness. In between there were several days where I felt like death warmed over. So although the worst of my symptoms are behind me I still am feeling a general malaise which greatly limits what I can do at the gym. My strength, energy and endurance are all way down. I had to stop and catch my breath after doing bicep curls, a small muscle group exercise which normally doesn’t incite such a reaction. Regardless, to me it’s good to get the time and work in, even when you are feeling kind of lousy. The seeds of laziness can never be allowed to take root.
