Dufisthenics

So as part of my lower body routine yesterday I did deadlifts, topping out at pulling 355 pounds off the hooks.  I got an unexpected second round of power lifting today.  The owner of the gym was struggling to get a treadmill he was selling out the door, it wouldn’t fit going through with normal orientation.  Myself and another long time gym goer I am friendly with offered to help him and another gym employee flip the treadmill on it’s side and maneuver it out that way, like you would a sofa.

I figured the commercial treadmill would be heavy but I didn’t expect it to be that heavy.  I bet it weighed between 400-500 pounds.  The plan to flip it sideways didn’t work out either so four of us wound up lugging the thing all the way through the gym through the front double doors.  We then had to lift it into the bed of the owner’s pick up truck.  He was very appreciative of our help and said if he didn’t have assistance he would have been wrecked for his Costa Rica surfing trip this weekend.  I guess owning low cost, lunk free, cookie cutter gyms can still have some high bottom lines.

Standing dumbbell overhead tricep extension – 55lbs x 10

Pull ups x 10

Standing dumbbell curl – 50lbs x 3

Standing dumbbell overhead tricep extension – 65lbs x 10

Rear delt pec dec – 70lbs x 10, 80lbs x 10, 90lbs x 10
