I trimmed my normal Sunday brick down to just a single endurance activity, swimming. Since I didn’t pre-fatigue with running or biking I felt pretty strong in the water. I swam three 500 yard segments, averaging around 10:30 for each, a good pace for me and my awkward swimming technique.
On Labor Day I did no formal exercise other than some sweaty yard work in the morning. On days I don’t exercise I feel like I instantly gain 20 lbs and generally feel like shit.
