Sorry to hear of the split Shawn-I no longer go to the gym-haven’t been in years-just hang out with my dog and mosquitos in back yard on the bars, so the wife always knows where I am. But like you said, there are a lot of positives for you in spite of the one bad thing you mentioned-and I am glad to see you are still improving daily-not sure I would be as motivated if I were in your situation. Luis is great-met him from BarFreaks, and I sent him your write up of my MU, so he messages me all the time now. So you are inspiring people all over which is cool. Your bar set up inspired me to build some bars in back yard, then inspired me to train for the MU-so papa be proud. I really wanted to get that MU for you and Kalostenos. I bet there are others who have seen your work who are just building their bars, and are keeping quiet until they make some progress– I now too want to work planches, may have to put a pole in ground to start clutch flag,flag–would look really bizarre with one pole in the ground-maybe attach a tetherball to it-I don’t know-lol And now I want to increase weighted dips and pullups-should help me get a clear MU. The split is very amicable and we remain good friends so things could be much worse.
Oh yea I know of several people that have contacted me about both my pull up bar and parallel bars that have/will be building a set of their own. My little brother just built his bar a month or so ago.
Yea I have toyed with a clutch flag, I need to toy with it some more!
