bd[1]I know more and more it seems like most of my entries include some sort of whining regarding the various aches, pains and ailments that I deal with in my fitness routine.  Unfortunately it seems to be an unavoidable thing as you try to maintain a decent fitness level as you approach 50 years of age.  To even consider that age number seems surreal to me.

The past 4 days the only organized exercise I did was four circuits of a Century, minus the 40 air squats because my knee hurt.  I followed it up today with a session at the gym that was more about not hurting myself than pushing the limits.

My normal bench press partner wasn’t there so I went at it solo with much fewer reps than normal.  I can still feel some pain in that left shoulder as the weight gets higher and the reps become more numerous.  I also cut my dumbbell incline reps short due to more pain in the same spot.  Finally I also have been feeling like a minor tendonitis flare up in my left forearm despite doing my daily stretching routine I outlined on YouTube a couple years back.  I feel a pull across the top of the forearm/elbow doing pull ups.

All of these annoying pains was compounded by a general lack of motivation I was feeling for whatever reason.  It all added up to a pile of a suck.
