Despite my what seems to be permanent lower body aches and pains I trudged through another lower body workout today. It went fine as I was able to get on the smith machine for squats for the second consecutive week, a minor miracle. I did do the full 210 pound stack of weights on the Cybex leg extension. It isn’t that hard to full stack a number of machines at Planet Fitness since most of them are designed for the casual gym enthusiast.
5 minutes cardio/stretching
20 pull ups
Smith machine squats – 135lbs x 10, 185lbs x 10, 225lbs x 3, 205lbs x 5, 135lbs x 12
Seated leg extension – 110lbs x 10, 130lbs x 10, 210lbs x 3
Seated leg curl – 100lbs x 10, 120lbs x 10, 140lbs x 9
Seated rotary calf extension – 170lbs x 10, 250lbs x 8, 310lbs x 6
